Many dealerships regard the automotive service manager as an integral part of their business. They are the people responsible for acting as a go-between customers and service staff. They are also responsible for other duties within this department.

These managers hire for their department and must choose the most qualified person for the job. They are in charge of overseeing the employees to make sure they meet the dealership’s quality standards. They are directly responsible for teaching these to the employees. Evaluations of employees are also part of their job within their department.

The automobile business is different in different nations, after all, people do business differently though out the world. Not long ago, I was discussing with someone in Dubai about the tire business, and how things have changed in the city over the last 10-years, and it is indeed amazing the changes, and the number of automobiles too.

He happened to have been in the tire business for many years and now was considering getting into the mobile car washing business, but not exactly the way we do it here in the US, remember the cost of water there is high, and it is a very valuable resource, as the water comes from desalination and that costs more. Mobile Oil Change Business Viability Considered in the US

There are indeed quite a few businesses you can start, in a multitude of industries, real businesses, not just online trinket selling. The reality is that most little online businesses barely make any real money, and if you have been laid off from corporate America, surely replacing that salary and benefits is highly unlikely. Now then if you want to start a real business, in the real world, I’d recommend a service type business, something mobile, not requiring signing a long-lease for a business space.
